Our Client has a vacancy for a Project Contract Change Manager. This is a contract position, based in Singapore.
As Project Contract Change Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial management of multiple FPSO projects, with the primary focus being that of managing document change requests, cost information, and change order approvals. You will work closely with Engineering, Project Cost Control, and Field Construction.
Candidates for this role will have extensive experience in managing client contract changes.
As Project Contract Change Manager, you will be responsible for:
Managing the commercial aspects of a particular contract, including document change request, cost information, change order approvals.
Claims management process including preparation of appropriate documentation in the support of claims negotiation, extensions of time, cost control, and financial recovery's from clients.
Assurance of contract compliance and that appropriate legal review and approvals are obtained for all contract disputes. This includes all activities associated disputes that lead to formal dispute resolution (arbitration/litigation).
Close out of all contractual obligations in a designated prime contract.
Reviews vendor/client contracts to ensure compliance to project specifications and to identify deviations from accepted company policy, practice and any unusual business or logistical risk.
Qualifications and skills required:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Applicable Academic discipline.
Substantial experience in Quantity Surveying, Schedule Development and Management of Commercial Contracts in an Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) environment.
Experience with and exposure to international project execution in an EPC environment is required.
Strong commercial management skills, specific to the identification of commercial risks, opportunities and the development of sound responsive strategies.
Must be able to assimilate contractual and legal issues quickly and determine optimal positions.
Excellent communication, interface and collaboration skills in a team environment, coupled with commitment to provide candid input on issues and challenge positions.
Able to influence decisions of major consequence to the company.
Solid planning and organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple projects, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt quickly to changing priorities based upon project needs.
Self starter who is proactive in carrying out their responsibilities.
Proficient computer skills.
