Job Description
Ensure the effective implementation of optimisation and adherence to companys minimum standards by way of Production policies strategies and procedures. So as to maintain companys integrity and maximise production of companys operated assets in a safe and effective manner. Working closely with peers and the asset teams to ensure production optimisation on companys operated assets; consistently and persistently strive to assure good practise at all times on all assets regardless of asset type or location.
Supervisory/Managerial Duties:
Ensure that all activities within their charge achieve optimum effective and safe performance.
Acquire the resources necessary to execute the activity whilst adhering to budget principles financial authorities process specifications and technical authorities.
Offshore/site visits will be required in this role as per operational requirements

Training/Skills:
Experience:
Considerable and relevant experience in managing production at supervisory or management level in an offshore production environment with a proven track record of delivery. Extensive experience at this level.

Able to demonstrate successful track record in similar positions
Professional demeanour strong interpersonal skills
Able to demonstrate team building skills and capable of influencing people from the shop floor to the Senior Management

Supervisory/Managerial Duties:
Main Duties:
- Execute all activities in line with production process policy strategy and plan
- Comply at all times with production process and policy
- Deliver education and awareness of production good practice across production community
- Establish and maintain strong working relationship with peers and asset teams so as to achieve effective delivery and optimisation of production on the assets
- Promote and actively support production process at all levels within the production community
- Monitor the effectiveness of production management arrangements in place
- Report on production effectiveness through line
- Support and actively participate were required in investigations internal audits in the area of production
- Ensure line management is well informed about production management issues
- Establish and maintain strong links with relevant external bodies and internal functions
- Actively and consistently seek to support production optimisation through analysis and practical interpretation of production reporting and KPIs
- Actively challenge as appropriate the organisations success in managing production
Organisation
- Actively support succession planning and plans for all production personnel
- Actively support competence assessment participate in appraisals and identification of training requirements for production personnel
- Actively support effective people development; monitor and report performance of the production organisation teams and individuals
Development
- Actively identify good practice from across industry and through the line propose for importation
- Personally promote an improvement culture within the production community
- Seek out and propose through the line self development within the role
Financial
- Actively support line manager to develop function annual budget
- Actively support Operations Managers to develop annual budgets for production support activity
- Practise and support good budget management against agreed targets
Health & Safety Responsibilities:
Education/Qualifications:
- BSc B.Eng. or similar.
Or
- HND/HNC in engineering or equivalent with considerable experience and job responsibilities in relevant production positions
- Demonstration of continued personal development through other relevant qualifications
Training/Skills:
- Detailed knowledge of production management and delivery in an offshore environment
- Detailed knowledge of relevant legislative regulatory codes and technical standards
- Detailed knowledge in the selection and use of production strategies production loss reporting and production optimisation; including an understanding of Process Modelling
- Detailed knowledge of Production Operations from well to flare tip including a demonstrable knowledge of relevant interfaces such as Drilling Well & Vessel Operations
- Demonstrable knowledge of production requirements in a hazardous environment and ensuring the delivery of production plans
- Demonstrable experience in the supervision of production teams including development of personnel
- Working knowledge of Offshore Installation Management Regulations
- Able to understand and implement complex plans and resourced work schedules
- Able to innovate: utilise tools techniques processes or equipment which are successfully used in other contexts which can be successfully applied to production
- Excellent communications and presentation skills
- Effective report writing skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Persistence an eye for detail and ability to complete and keep to deadlines
- Skilled use of typical office software
Experience:
