Job Description
A large client is seeking a reservoir engineer with a very significant level of post-graduate experience in the oil and gas industry specifically simulation studies, reservoir management and modelling behaviour to join their team in Dubai. The client has a number of competitive opportunities that require candidates with extensive simulation experience and the ability to direct, co-ordinate and characterise activities. Ideal candidates will apply the latest forms of technology and software required to update and develop the appropriate monitoring tools, dynamic models, performance management techniques and hydrocarbon behaviour systems.
The client is looking for individuals with the ability to actively seek prospects and identify potential opportunities and limitations before recommending and evaluating the trails of new fields. Successful candidates will possess characteristics necessary to expertly advise and support asset teams towards the development and management of the clients' objectives, whilst establishing a position of authority through interacting with contractors and mentoring junior engineers.
Individuals must possess the skills needed to oversee field development plans, simulation studies using SCAL data, reservoir dynamic modelling techniques and enhanced oil recovery injections aimed at identifying and reviewing optimum recovery methods. The role also requires a considerable amount of experience regarding hydrocarbon systems using thermodynamic principles and PVT behaviour injectants.
It is vital that employees act as fully integrated team members who share information across the disciplines.
