Job Description

My client undertakes reservoir engineering studies
across the life cycle of developments, from
exploration & appraisal to development and field life
extension (including IOR & EOR), and finally to
abandonment. Our reservoir engineers are also
involved in commercial evaluations, including
reserves evaluations & audits to M & A evaluations.

We are looking to recruit well qualified and
experienced reservoir engineers to help us deliver
our services around the world.

Most of our reservoir engineers have an oil company
background, which means we fully understand our
clients commercial imperatives, and can take
ownership of their key reservoir issues.

Primary Responsibilities
Act as the focal point for all Reservoir
Engineering work in the Australian market
Assist with the development of business in
Australia and in the wider Asia Pacific Region
Assist in the building of a world class
Reservoir Engineering team

Key Skills
Our reservoir engineers must have extensive
experience in many areas of reservoir engineering,
such as:
Reservoir simulation (black oil &
compositional)
Commercial evaluations
Reserves evaluations
Well test design & analysis
Field development planning
EOR and production enhancement
Prospect evaluations
Material balance analysis
Decision & risk analysis
Production forecasting (deterministic &
probabilistic)
Field abandonment studies
Well performance
Production optimisation

Successful candidates must be able to evidence
significant experience within many of the above
areas.

Objective Requirements
A strong background in Reservoir
Engineering in Australia and in reservoir
simulation, well test analysis and classical
reservoir engineering techniques
A good understanding of complimentary
areas such as geocellular modelling
A background in both new field developments
and mature field maintenance.
