Key Responsibilities
* The production and checking of detailed drawings for the OHL designs.
* The preparation, checking and submission of DID and CTQ's
* Production and checking of all design tender information prior to submission.
* Providing programme updates to the Principal OHL Designer/Engineer for the duration of the project life
* The review of method statements/risk assessment and the production, checking of CDS documents in conjunction with the Principal OHL Designer/Engineer
* The development of new industry software
* The enhancement of trainee engineers and technicians through mentoring
Knowledge / Experience
* You will be educated to a minimum of HNC (or equivalent)
* You will have experience in the OHL Transmission industry
* Must have a basic understanding of the latest OHL design practices and standards
* Must have a knowledge of CAD software systems
* Must have a basic understanding of site practices, which should include foundation setting out/construction, structure assembly/erection, conductor erection and temporary works.
