The client

Our client is a leading international contractor to the Oil & Gas production and processing industry, providing facilities to many of the worlds leading integrated, independent and national Oil & Gas companies.

The role

You will supervise and lead a team of engineers and designers in carrying out detailed engineering work for large sized projects or proposals assuming entire responsibility for the detailed design. You will provide necessary technical information and support for procurement of all Static Equipment and related packages in compliance with tender specifications/data sheets. You will adhere to cost/ budgeted man-hour and project schedules. You will determine methods and solutions for complex engineering problems and select the most efficient and economical manner in meeting the objectives. You will apply advanced engineering techniques and analyses within the discipline to serve as a technical specialist when required.

The candidate

To be considered for this role, it is expected that you will have following education/experience:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering;

Minimum of 18 years of detail design engineering related experience preferable from a background in working for consultancy organisations or EPC for petrochemical or for the Oil and Gas Industry;

Possess good knowledge of relevant ASME & BS codes, TEMA, API standards;

Shall possess ability to grasp other international standards as demanded by work;

Shall have wide experience in use of PVElite/Compress/eTank/Ansys/HTRI software;

The candidate shall possess in-depth technical knowledge of at least three of the following Static Equipment/Packages: Pressure Vessels & Columns/Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers/Air Coolers/Tanks/Flare Packages/Waste Heat Recovery Systems/Fired heaters /Dehydration Package.
