The client

Our client is a leading international contractor to the Oil & Gas production and processing industry, providing facilities to many of the worlds leading integrated, independent and national Oil & Gas companies.

The role

You will supervise and lead a team of engineers and designers in carrying out detailed engineering work for large sized projects or proposals assuming entire responsibility for the detailed design. You will provide necessary technical information and support for procurement of all electrical equipment and electrical items related to packages in compliance with tender specifications/data sheets. You will adhere to cost/ budgeted man-hour and project schedules, and determine methods and solutions for engineering problems and select the most efficient and economical manner in meeting the objectives. You will apply advanced engineering techniques and analyses within the discipline to serve as a technical specialist when required. The candidate shall possess in-depth technical knowledge to review the engineering calculations & system study reports and in selecting, specifying and reviewing the supplier documents for the major electrical equipments used in Oil and Gas Industry.

The candidate

To be considered for this role, it is expected that you will have following education/experience:

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering;

Minimum of 18 years of detail design engineering related experience preferable from a background in working for consultancy organisations or EPC for petrochemical or for the Oil and Gas Industry;

Possess good knowledge of relevant IEC, BS, IEEE, API etc. codes and standards. You will possess ability to grasp other international standards and client specifications as demanded by work;
