You will support the Lead Consultant with a focus on delivering projects and sales opportunities. You will plan conduct and report petroleum engineering projects ensuring that safe technically competent and cost effective solutions are employed to the satisfaction of clients.

Responsibilities:

· Support the development strategy tactics and sales plan for the consultancy team.

· Support all business development and sales delivery of the consultancy team

· Identify develop and improve relationships with existing and potential clients.

· Develop a detailed understanding of client drivers.

· Progress and maintain detailed client/project action plans.

· In liaison with Lead Consultant manage the negotiation of commercial terms and conditions.

· Generate other progress/Performance reports as required.

· Carry out petroleum engineering studies and project work in line with the companies Project Delivery Process and Project Service Agreements PSA.

· Work as an engineering team member whether within the company office or a clients office.

· Provide cost effective solutions to Production Technology challenges. Demonstrating the sound use of engineering skills and reporting the results clearly and concisely.

· Carry out work in compliance with company and industry standards.

· Communicate through verbal presentation and written medium the progress and the findings of the study.

· Carry out work with a high level of cost efficiency.

· Identify and pursue future work opportunities for sales.

· Carry out work that promotes the use of production technology skills in the oil industry through presentation of work at industry forums.

· Responsible for all aspects of individual project delivery for example:

· QC/QA management

· Resource management

· Financial management

· Project coordination

· Status reporting

· Forecasting

· Responsible for supporting people management for the consultancy team.

· Assist with the development of an annual business plan for the consultancy team and other periodic reviews and reporting as required.

· Full compliance with all policies standards guidelines and processes and Delegation of Authority approval levels

Essential Skills Experience and Qualifications:

· Be recognised by your peers having both assimilated a large inventory of knowledge and gained requisite working experience.

· Responsible for the performance of complex tasks that require the application of professional skills and knowledge.

· Be able to undertake and mentor other consultants in work across a large number of Petroleum Technology key offerings.

· Undertake professional level tasks on own initiative without regular guidance or immediate supervision

Desired Skills Experience and Qualifications:

· Be recognised within the industry as an expert in function.

· Be capable of performing the most highly complex assignments and of devising original technical solutions where necessary.

· Be regarded within his or her profession as suitable to supervise the development of inexperienced professionals and senior engineers.
