Our client is an international Subsea contractor with its UK head office in Aberdeen.

In preparation for the commencement of substantial new projects during the Spring and Summer of 2010, our clientis is now seeking to attract Principal and Senior Pipeline Analysis Engineers on a staff or contract basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Undertake planning, detailing and reviewing of technical documentation relating to subsea pipelines' construction and installation. Undertake analysis, design and engineering activities associated with subsea construction and installation.
Design and detailing in accordance with acknowledged industry Codes, Standards and Design Guides (e.g. DNV, BS, API,); Client Specifications and Scopes of Work.
Production of design documentation including feasibility reports, detailed design reports, construction drawings, design specifications, material take-offs, weight control calculations, etc.
Be aware of associated subsea related disciplines and understand the interfaces within a project environment.
Provide engineering assistance and support during mobilisations and occasional periods of offshore or site working in support of installation operations.
Provide technical engineering support to other departments within the Central Engineering Group, the Project Engineering Group, and to colleagues in terms of training and mentoring.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience in Engineering within Subsea pipelines industry
Chartered status preferred
