For 1 of our clients IPS is in need of Plough Operators for a cable laying project near the UK coast.

As the Plough Operator you will work within agreed project management procedures to ensure that contracted work is completed on time and within contract and company requirements.

Experience/ Qualifications:

The following experiences and qualifications are required:

§ Proven experience within the offshore construction environment in a similar position;

§ Experience in cable lay or subsea construction;

§ Wire rope inspection and wire rope socketing training;

§ Valid CSCS / VCA Construction Safety training;

§ Valid Banksman / slinger and rigger / slinger training;

§ Valid BOSIET / STCW training and valid Offshore / Seafarers medical examination.

It is an extra when you have knowledge of legal requirements in the offshore environment, preferable UK.
