Job Description

Accountabilities and responsibilities: The job holder is responsible for: Providing scheduling andplanning on various projects of logisitics and infrastructure directorate such as engineering and construction, Bautino Marine Base Expansion and off base projects in order to monitor the progressd, detect and manage trends/deviations to the plan. To assist the logistics governance manager in developing and monitoring of the L&I key performance indicators. To develop planning control procedures and methods suitable for operational needs. To develop and maintain the internal and external departmental planning reports. To prepare the L&I weekly, monthly and annual reports and supporting the improvement of the document content. To ensure with L&I planners that contractors planning systems and resources are appropriate as per company requirements. To support with L&I planners the project engineers in developing detailed plans and estimates and assist in the compilation of projects CTR's. To coordinate and monitor the implementation of the L&I management framework through the revision of the associated document sets (procedures, guidelines, work instructions, etc). Following company policies and procedures. Performing any other engineering tast requested by direct manager when necessary.

Qualifications and experience: The job holder must have: Engineering diploma, 10 years of planning and scheduling experience, including at least 5 yearse in oil & gas projects. Experience in onshore and offshore petrochemical projects in europe for at least 10 years. Solid background and understanding of project planning tools such as primavera P6 and microsoft project. Experience in working direct of indirectly for a major oil company. Experience in preparing and executing control procedures for planning. Experience in supervising planning engineers. Experience in dealing with shareholders and stakeholders. Knowledge of progress benchmarking and progress assessment methodology.

Required competencies: The job holder must have proven: Leading abilites - particularly co-ordination and motivation of local workforce. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Familiar with both project and corporate contract and finance procedures. Self-motivated and ability to coordunate an integrated team, with daily supervision. Ability to prepare strategic plans to ensure that the planning tools are capable of meeting the company's business needs. Ability to assist in management reviews of existing projects. Ability to create/update planning estimating/control methods and procedures to reflect the latest engineering and project execution philosophies.
