Our Client has a vacancy for a Planner (Environmental/Approvals/Commercial), based in Perth, Australia. This is a contract position.

Reporting to the Lead Planning Engineer, the key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:
To provide a planning, control and monitoring service to the  Environment, Government Licenses, Commercial, GHG, Supply Base & Marketing teams, covering all contractors and associated subcontractor.
Development of detailed schedules in coordination with various stakeholders and contractors.
Feed the above plans into the Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in Perth.
Monitor progress and all aspects of the schedule, appraise and advise the Lead Planning Engineer of progress and trends in the event of any deviations from the program.
Assist the Lead Planning Engineer in development of overall Ichthys project monthly progress reports.
Prepare clear and concise planning reports and documentation for the above plans on a regular basis (monthly / bi-monthly) including bar charts, networks, milestone and variance reports.
Attend progress and coordination meetings
Provide an independent assessment of individual team's progress
 
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, relevant tertiary qualifications and prior experience in a similar Planning role is essential.
The successful candidate will also possess knowledge of Planning software such as Primavera 6, Microsoft Project and Suretrack within the Oil & Gas industry.
Some travel may be required to oversee subcontractor's offices, fabrication yards and work carried out on site.
