- Technical College Degree in engineering
- Have at least 15 years of oil and gas engineering experience and 8 years in offshore pipeline engineering experience.
- Be competent to design specify and select pipeline system which meets the required standards specifications and codes.
- Be competent to perform pipeline engineering related to route selection wall thickness stress analysis expansion analysis CP stability freespan analysis and produce maintenance reference plans.
- Be competent of performing engineering for modification of pipelines to suit routine and intelligent pigging.
- Be competent to write up pipeline installation commissioning operation and maintenance philosophy and procedures.
- Be competent to perform assessments on free spans riser stresses and defects due to anchor corrosion and other anomalies.
- Be familiar with relevant international standards and codes of practice normally used by the Pipeline Engineering in the Oil and Gas industry such as DnV ISO API ANSI ASME BS and etc.
