Job Description
CCL cclglobal.com has been requested by an international oil operating company to provide a Petroleum Engineer - Integrated Asset Modelling. Permanent position based in Home Counties. Ability to travel internationally. Major company package.
Min. first science degree. Full understanding of nodal flow system. Hands on experience of eclipse reservoir simulation tool & familiarity with Petroleum Expert software MBAL Prosper & GAP is essential. Familiarity with RESOLVE / Avocet a plus. Basic understanding of production facilities & facilities constraints. Will transfer simulation models into integrated asset model using software such as Resolve; calibration of standalone simulation models with models rebuilt in RESOLVE. Fully familiar with E100 & E300 Schlumberger Eclipse software & supporting packages such as floviz pvti office. Some knowledge of Petrel and Flogrid useful but not essential. Must thrive in environment of conflicting deadlines & still deliver quality. Genuine enthusiasm for reservoir engineering. Effective communicator with fluent written & spoken English. Eligible to live and work in the UK.
Broad range of petroleum engineering experience including reservoir engineering & PT technologies techniques & field applications; & bring interpretation concepts into field deployment. Role includes ensuring full compatibility of standalone / IAM models. Generate standards for workflows. Responsibilities may include design / delivery of effective reservoir engineering practices e.g. PVT Scal welltesting production forecasting material balance Reservoir simulation modelling reserves field development planning.
