Job Purpose & Scope:

The Performance Reporting and Data Management Team Leader manage the accurate reporting of performance results, initiatives, and coordination of Best Practices, Lessons Learned and knowledge management. Also coordinates the overall drilling data management team activities including required hardware, software, telecommunications systems and Real Time Operations Center, to ensure data management and computing support is available at rig sites and to all Company Well Operations personnel. Job Accountabilities: 1. Assists drilling department management in identifying areas for improvement and strategies to enhance drilling and completions performance 2. Tracks, analyzes and reports performance of drilling department 3. Tracks, analyzes and reports Non Productive Time (NPT) for drilling department 4. Stewards related key performance indicators and scorecards for drilling department 5. Sponsors the KPI process for suppliers and service companies for drilling department 6. Tracks, analyzes and reports suppliers and service companies performance with support from drilling department 7. Owner of Best Practices and Lessons Learned database and ensures dissemination throughout drilling department and stakeholders. 8. Promotes drilling knowledge management through stewardship of knowledge network and benchmarking. 9. Stewards any required monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual reports for drilling department Management. 10. Prepares various performance related presentations for drilling department Management. 11. Establishes priority schedules and reviews work done by his direct reports. Manages the overall drilling related data. 12. Coordinates and assesses computing and telecommunications needs and liaison with IT Group for delivery of services. 13. Provides support and maintains the Drilling Information Management System and the Drilling Information Management Center (DIMC). 14. Maintains a Real Time Operations Facility (RTOF) for the drilling team 15. Provides data management related training to drilling team members 16. Works with Engineering Management to determine software application needs, directs development and/or determines availability of existing new engineering software and assists in installation and training. 17. Assists in the storage of important information and manuals on the central servers as part of a knowledge management system within the drilling department

Minimum Requirements:

1. Degree in relevant Engineering discipline such as Petroleum or Mechanical. 2. Minimum ten years experience and knowledge of drilling and completion engineering functions and operations. 3. Advanced Computer Skills, Knowledge of Drilling Information Management Systems and Database Management 4. Held management or Team Leader level position in the past 5. Attended courses in Drilling engineering and/or directional drilling

Bachelors Degree or equivalent
