Job Title: Partner Operations Drilling Engineer
Location: Based in Sunbury, with possible travel to Angola
Salary & Benefits or Rate: Market Rate

Our Client:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.
The role:
Ongoing development & appraisal drilling in the Angola Deepwater Blocks 15 & 17 & for the assurance, influence & transfer of learning's related to the design, installation, operation & cost estimates for all Block 15 & 17 wells.
Ensure close working with PU / BU management & commercial teams & regular contact with the relevant HoDs & TVPs. The Post holder will represent the Operator at regular Partner meetings held in Luanda, Pau, Paris & Houston).
He/she will be responsible for successfully influencing & learning from the Block Operators & assessing/assuring Drilling & Rig Strategies, D&C Performance, technical integrity of wells, annual budgets & Long Term Plans.
The Post holder will provide support to the JV Subsurface Teams for well plans & well endorsement.
There will also be an important knowledge transfer interface with BPs Block 18 & Block 31 Teams Building strong relationships with key individuals in other partners will be a critical part of the role to enable effective information transfer & influencing.
Desirable skills & qualification:
Must have:
HND or equivalent Broad drilling & completions experience including operational experience Familiarity with CVP & RROS would be an advantage.
Working for the operator in Similar role.
