Job Description
Our client a worldwide provider of facilities solutions to the oil and gas production and processing industries are currently looking for an Operations Director to be based within their Cranfield office.
Responsibilities:
ÃÂDetailed design manufacture delivery installation commissioning and after sales support of products and systems: on time and within budget.
ÃÂDetailed design manufacture delivery installation commissioning of prototypes for product development: on time and within budget.
ÃÂQuality management HSSE and Asset Integrity management.
ÃÂManagement of rental fleet.
ÃÂManage the Operations strategy processes and performance.
ÃÂSupport Sales and Technology with operational input.
ÃÂBuild and manage an effective operations team of direct employees and associates including specialist third parties and vendors.
ÃÂBuilding the necessary rapport and credibility with clients.
ÃÂBuilding an operations infrastructure to efficiently deliver and support the project unique globally dispersed intermittent activities.
ÃÂManaging the manufacture and deployment of immature products and their inevitable teething issues as well as the usual project delivery cost and time pressures.
ÃÂBuilding vendor and supplier relationships that fully engage their innovation and capabilities to optimise the manufacturing costs with product performance.
Qualifications:
ÃÂSenior project engineer with proven experience.
ÃÂExperience in EPIC or facilities maintenance in the upstream sector.
ÃÂSignificant brownfield upgrades or retrofits.
ÃÂExperience working offshore.
ÃÂKnowledge of operations and technical issues in upstream production processes.
ÃÂStrong interpersonal skills able to lead teams build rapport with clients and third parties and can enthusiastically rise to the challenge.
ÃÂAbility to travel the world regularly for site visits commissioning client meetings supporting sales.
