Job Description
Our client is a well establish international developer with a history of wind farm installations across Europe and other international countries.
Currently our client is looking for a resonsible operational wind farm manager as a result of recent commissioning of several wind farms in Ireland this year.
Start: May/June 2010,
Training: 2 months job training in Germany.
Salary: 60-65,000
Benefits: Health Cover; Travel Insurance, Superannuation
Roles and responsibilities:

Technical and administrative management of our client's wind farm portfolio in Ireland.

Responsibility for the co-ordination and operational management of the wind farms.

Working in closely with the wind staff in the German Headquarters who are responsible for the technical maintenance of the wind turbines, i.e. technical reporting, remote control, and inspections of the wind turbines.

First point of contact to the grid companies alongside the designated operator.

Meter-reading and billing of the electricity (feed-in) to the grid companies

Financial management and investment responsibility for the wind farm projects with the help of
an experienced commercial employee

Liaison with the landowners of the occupied property for the windfarm along with insurance companies.

Reporting to the clients to present commercial reports twice yearly.

Responsibility and management for the contract.
Essential Skill Set:
Engineering qualification preferably in an engineering discipline or training in a technical discipline.
Previous experience in the wind energy business, particularly on the operational and commercial side.
Knowledge of both office and database software
