Our client is one of the world's largest energy companies employing over 80,000 personnel and operating in over 100 countries worldwide with expertise covering a range of energy sources. They are currently looking to recruit an Operation Readiness & Handover Engineer based in Sutton, UK.

As Operation Readiness & Handover Engineer you will be required to work closely with the rest of the Project Team to ensure that the overall scope of the project is delivered in accordance with interest. Your main responsibilities will include:

Accountable for writing, distribution and organising reviews of:

• the system operating guides


• the startup operating guides


• the gas-export first startup procedures


• the operating outline procedures and maintenance manuals for the project

This includes the subsea and the topsides scope as well as the communication scope.

You will prepare integration of these procedures within the current operation team and work procedures as well as implement the pipeline operating strategy into this handover scope.

Qualifications and expereince required:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced engineer who has had operation and startup experience, and has held recent and similar position on deepwater major project.

The candidate needs to be dedicated, hard working and flexible person since he/she will join the project well into execution, and will have to move quickly into effective delivery of this scope. You will also possess strong interpersonal and influencing skills and be able to identify and tackle issues with a range of stakeholders.

This is a contract position.

The rate for this position is negotiable.
