Job Description
Our client a major in the gas and oil industry requires an Offshore Facilities Engineer for a role based in Villa, Baku. This is a contractual position offered on a 6/2 rotational basis.
Main Duties:-
* Manage and coordinate the efforts of the engineering and offshore construction functions around Produced Water for short term. Also responsible for ensuring that all assigned scopes relating to Platform engineering reviews, surveys, studies, modifications are planned, managed, coordinated, delivered in time and within budget.
* Coordinating preliminary concept studies/assessments utilising Technical Authorities and 3rd party contractors, as appropriate to develop and scope / quantify the integrity issues.
* Defining technical scopes for 3rd party contractors to undertake engineering and construction of proposed engineering upgrades to offshore facilities.
* Coordinate technical evaluation of 3rd party contractor proposals for engineering upgrades to offshore facilities.
* Managing and controlling 3rd party contractor during the execution of their scopes, ensuring delivery within schedule, budget.
* Manage all the interfaces between Offshore Ops and other Teams
* Providing technical information about issues on different systems
* Providing key input and assistance to developing and in reporting progress against the operational and other relevant plans and reports.
* Assist the manager to Deliver conceptual development studies
* Provide technical assurance and guidance for projects and operations in water management
* Provide economic assessments of systems equipment
* Provide forecasts
* Deliver availability and reliability assessments
* Work with appropriate specialists to deliver costs and schedules
* Supervise process engineering work and deliverables from engineering contractors and suppliers
* Provide technical support and guidance on operational troubleshooting
* Provide evaluation of best available equipment and technology for water management
Essential
* Wide experience around Offshore (mainly)/ Onshore Produced Water and Sand Handling systems.
* Particularly Feasibility studies on existing systems to improve performance
* Offshore Produced Water treatment and Re-injection
* Offshore sand separation & disposal
* Option selection
* Compiling, and putting strategy paper like technical packages together

Qualifications
Diploma or equivalent, Direct Experience or equivalent
