OFFSHORE DRILLING: DEEPWATER EXPERT TEAM MEMBER: ET Field Support Supervisor

Swift Worldwide Resources is seeking an ET Field Support Supervisor, for our client an international drilling company. This position will provide technical support to our deepwater fleet. It offers a highly competitive salary and great benefits.

Duties Include:

The ET Field Support Supervisor provides technical support of electronic, instrumentation, automated control, and computerized systems to ensure smoothness of drilling.

• Electronic Maintenance functions


• Supervises inspection, commissioning and troubleshooting


• Test electronics and control systems


• Oversee system calibration and other adjustments


• Maintain record of electronic maintenance performed


• Mentor rig personnel


• Evaluate equipment performance


• Inspects, services, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment

 Qualifications Required:

• Associates degree in electronic technology, (Bachelors degree is preferred)


• 10 yrs exp as an Electrician, Electrical Supervisor or Chief Engineer


• Deepwater experience


• Drillship experience preferred

Direct Hire Position on Rotation Schedule
