Job Description
Our Client, a Major International offshore contractor in the oil & gas industry, active in Offshore Transportation & Installation, Pipeline & Subsea Construction, Pipeline Design & Subsea Technology, requires a Naval Architect to work in the Engineering & Operations Dept at their UK Head Offices in Surrey
To be responsible for the performance of naval architecture engineering work. Primarily performing computer simulations and analytical support to transportations & installation operations of large offshore structures.
Candidates must have a Relevant Engineering Degree (e.g. Naval Architecture, Marine Eng etc.) Desirable (but not essential) an MSc qualification
With minimum of 3 years experience, an engineering background and analytical capability and interest in offshore engineering.
Experience of Rigid pipes and S-lay
Ideally, experience should be gained in marine applications for transportation and lifting of offshore oil & gas structures.
Previous knowledge of industry standard software tools (Moses, Gmoor) for offshore engineering would be an advantage.
The salary is negotiable up to £45K p.a. ( Staff Benefits)
