Medical Response and Audit Coordinator - 7356 job in Kazakhstan
Job holder will be the focal point for Medical Emergency response activities and the coordination of medical and occaptional health inspections and related compliance activities at Bolashak site.
To provide advice to the site management on medical emergency response issues. To be medical emergency on scene commander as part of bolashak site from the medical repsonse perspective. To manage day-to-day daml clinic operations related with emergency response in line with company quality management system and good medical pratices. To provide training in first aid (basic to advanced) and pre-hospital care for site accidents and incidents. This will be delievered to members of the Emergency response teams i.e. first aiders and stretcher teams. To provide training in triage, patient, resuscitation, extrication and transport for company site medical staff, ERT members, stretcher bearers. etc. Review medical response in terms of peronnel and equipment for major incident plans at Bolashak site. Coordinate the monitoring of availability, functionally and condition of all Bolashak site ccompany and contractor medical facilities, strechers, first aid points. To be a team member in review of occupational health requirements and implementation with respect to Bolashak site activities. Local Coordination of any company wide health promotion programme at Bolashak site. To provide support to occupational health section of health services department as directed by the health services manager.
Reporting: Weekly activity report to Atyrau Head Of Medical Services and head of occupational health. Reports as required by tasks above. Attendance at Bolashak site HSE and ER related meetings as agreed with line management. Written handover at each crew change.
The job holder must have: qualified as either a registered nurse or registered paramedic or military equivalent. Have a valid UK HSE Offshore Medics Certificate or equivalent. Valid pre-hospital trauma and advanced life support certification. Recognised qualification in food safety at minimum of level 3. NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent experience is strongly desirable. Minimum of 10 years operational experience as a paramedic / medic, with at least 6 years as a remote site or offshore paramedic. Experience in clinic management. Previous experience in conducting training in first aid and pre-hospital medical care. Previous experience of oil and gas operations in the Former Soviet Union would be highly beneficial as would knowledge of Republic of Kazakhstan regulatory codes and laws.
The job holder must have proven: track record of success within the oil and gas industry. Ability to be self motivated, self-disciplined and well organised. Communication skills at all management levels. Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic, multi-disciplinary team. Computer literacy, Microsoft Word / Excel / Power Point / Outlook.
