Job Description

Purpose:
The job holder will be the focal point for Medical Emergercy Response activities and the coordination of Medical end Occupational Health inspections and related compliance activities at Eskene West site


Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
1. To provide advice to the Site Management on medical emergency response issues
2. To be Medical Emergency On-Scene Commander as part of Company Site Emergency Response Team
3. To have an active involvement in emergency response planning at site from the medical response perspective
4. To manage day-to-day Samal clinic operations related with Emergency Response in time with Company quality management system and good medical practices.
5. To provide training in first aid basic to advanced and pre-hospital care for site accidents and incidents This w it be delivered to members of the Emergency Response Teams i.e. first alders and stretcher teams
6. To provide training in triage patient resuscitation extrication and transport for Company site medical staff ERT members and stretcher bearers. etc
7. Review medical response m terms of personnel and equipment for major incident plans at Eskene West site
8. Coordinate the monitoring of availability functionality and condition of all medical facilities stretchers. first aid points
9. To be a team member in review of occupational health requirements and implementation with respect to site activities
10. Local coordination of any company-wide health promotion programme at Eskene West site
11. To provide support to Occupational Hearth section of Health Services Department as directed by the health Services Manager


Qualifications and Experience:
The job holder must have.
1. Qualified as either as a Registered Nurse or Registered Paramedic or military equivalent
2. Have a valid UK HSE Offshore Medics Certificate or equivalent
3. Valid pre-hospital trauma and advanced fife support certification
4. Recognised qualification in food safety at minimum of Level 3 Intermediate
5. NEBOSH Certificate or Equivalent Experience
6. Significant operational experience as a paramedic / medic with some as a remote site or offshore paramedic.
7. Experience in clinic management
8. Previous experience in conducting training in first aid and pre-hospital medical care
9. Previous experience of oil and gas operations in the Former Soviet Union would be highly beneficial as would knowledge of Republic of Kazakhstan Regulatory Codes and Laws

2. Abtlity to be self motivated self-disciplined and well organised
3. Communication skills at all managerial levels
4. Ability to work well in a multi-cultural: multi-ethnic multi-disciplinary team
5. Computer literacy Microsoft Word 4Excel / Power point Outlook
