I am currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to work on a staff basis for this manufacturing company in Glasgow

You must be eligible to work in the UK

You will be degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or hold a relevant Mechanical qualification HNC/D backed up with relevant experience in detailed engineering of technical management of pumps and rotating machinery

You will analyse pump and ancillary components and structures for stress and distortion sue to internal loadings, external loadings and thermal effects.

Carry out drive train rotor analysis including torsional and lateral critical speed calculations.

You will liaise with customers and specialists worldwide on technical matters

You will have practical knowledge and experience in mechanical assemblies and packaging for equipment,
