Job Title: Materials Controller Location: Aberdeen Rate/Salary: neg Duration: Ongoing The Company: Our client appears in the FTSE 100 index and is an international energy services company specializing in Oil and Gas and has annual revenues of over 2.6 billion. Currently looking for a Materials Controller. The Role: Process all Contract materials and equipment for shipment by Client. Physically receipt and locate materials at Client Supply Base. Receipt materials in Maximo against the relevant PO number. Arrange for Goods Inward inspection. Arrange forklift/craneage/transport from Client Supply Base Rep. Prepare and dispatch piece small materials for fabrication requirements. Prepare materials and equipment for shipment as per Plan activity start dates. Bag and tag materials for offshore implementation. Complete documentation and handle Dangerous Goods for air and sea transport. Manifest materials and equipment in Maximo for inclusion with Client manifest. Conduct stock checks. Identify surplus material upon workscope completion and prepare for disposal. Receive control and prepare for shipment all Subcontractors materials. Liaise with Procurement Supervisor to ensure full communication on priorities. Receive control prepare for shipment offshore and subsequent return of all PE tools consumables PPE - ensuring immediate offhire of PE. Essential Skills/Qualifications - Previous experience of providing a similar service in a similar environment. Dangerous Goods Authorised Signatory preferred. Current forklift certificate.
