This leading Renewable Energy and Oil & Gas Consultancy are at the forefront of meeting the demands of engineering design and asset operation with the constraints of the environment in marine, river and land-based projects providing energy and water sector organisations with solutions to these complex environmental and regulatory challenges throughout their project life cycle they offer a complete service. Currently required for their Dundee office is an experienced Marine Environmental Consultant to begin work on a number of Marine EIA projects.
 
Reporting to the Operations Director you will be responsible for:
 
Feasibility studies/scoping studies/resource assessments/site assessments, ecological studies, environmental monitoring/planning applications/obtaining consents, managing subcontractors, framework agreements
Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for local planning authorities and private sector clients
Marine and Coastal Zoning Management
Performing EIA studies on onshore wind, offshore wind and tidal technologies
Decommissioning Management Plans for Marine Projects
 
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
 
Degree in Environmental Science
MSc in an Environmental or Renewable Energy topic
Detailed previous consultancy experience with Marine Renewable's project experience
Experience in delivering environmental assessment and marine consents and permits in the UK sector
Experience with Marine Cabling studies and Offshore Wind Farms
A detailed history in delivering EIA projects within a consultancy environment.
