Our client is a leading global Oil & Gas engineering, construction and services company. They are now actively looking for a Senior and Principal Level Marine Engineer to join the company on a permanent basis.

The role:
Responsible for the development, design, specification, and services related to floating offshore vessels including mooring systems, marine systems and marine equipment primarily for floating production and riser systems, marine construction vessels, floating drilling units, offshore support vessels and other trading ships. Also responsible for technical solutions of marine installation and removal phases of offshore structures, including load-out, transportation, lift, launch, and float-over mating type of operations and for related marine construction services.
Under general supervision, performs all conventional aspects of the functional area subject matter. Devises new approaches to problems encountered. Plans, schedules, and conducts work requiring judgement in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. Performs work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements. Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering with significant experience gained as a marine engineer.
