Legal Communications Coordinator job in Kazakhstan
Orion Group are currently looking to recruit a Legal Communications Coordinator based in Astana, Kazakhstan.
As Legal Communications Coordinator your main responsibilities will include:
- Communication with the Managing Director, and direct reports to the MD and the RoK Correspondence Team to ensure that all communication to and from the Authority, RoK Governmental Departments, and Operator's Agents is given the correct priority and is dealt with in an efficient and timely manner to ensure the good working of and maintaining the good reputation of the company
- Create and implement a transparent process for creating / responding to communication and ensuring that all Contracting Companies and Agents are promptly contacted
- Procure draft responses to any communication with the Authority, RoK Governmental Department, communicating with internal departments, Contracting Companies and Operator's Agents in order to gain the relevant information, and draft the response for the MD signature, ensuring the response is relevant, concise and provided within a defined timeframe
- Prepare information as necessary for communication to the EVP's, ConCom and Operator Agents on any relevant, sensitive issues
- Ensure that all communication provided to and from the MD is registered and assigned to the correct person, and ensure any response is provided within a defined timeframe
- Provide a regular review of the status of all correspondence received, and detail the requests which are pending a response
- Ensure that the ManCom Resolutions database is efficiently and correctly updated with all the relevant documentation, and provide the documents to the relevant internal people, Agents and Contracting Companies
- Prepare all Resolution data for MD signature, ensuring that the information is correct
Qualifications and experience required:
- Educated to tertiary level with recognised academic institution (or professional equivalent)
- Working knowledge of technical, commercial and legal aspects associated with major oil & gas field developments
- Experienced with preparing submittal documents for external persons
- Good understanding of the E&P activities
- High level knowledge of communication processes
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the company
- Fluent English (written and oral)
- Good communicator (verbal and written)
- Personal qualities including pragmatic, flexible, confidential
- Excellent knowledge of MS-Office packages
- Ability to use initiative
This is a residential, contract position.
The salary for this position is negotiable.
