Our client has several vacancies for Lead Subsea System / Controls Engineers based in Singapore.

They require Lead Engineers for production control, work over control systems and also lead system engineers for tenders and studies.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Technical management of engineering tasks within the assigned project(s)


• Design of subsea control systems during tenders and studies, and general tender work as required


• Design optimal system control system solutions in collaboration with system engineering and other product groups


• Responsible for external and internal project interfacing


• Responsible for preparation of function and design specifications, test procedures and input to user manuals


• Responsible for preparation of engineering plan and follow up


• Start up and leadership of design reviews


• Review of contract specifications and ITTs to identify delivery requirements


• Assist during system tests and installation, when necessary


• Training and development of local engineers assigned to the project

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Engineering degree


• Extensive experiences in controls


• Technical background as lead engineer / system engineer and/or project/product engineer


• Experience with latest generation control systems, including fibre-optic communication, Subsea Router Module, Subsea IP networks, advanced instrumentation and EFAT is an advantage


• Experience with study and tender work is an advantage


• Ability to work systematically and independently


• Enterprising, effective, cooperative and flexible personality


• Good communication skills in both written and spoken English


• Team player in a multi-cultural, multi-disciplined team

These position are on a contract basis.

The rate for all positions is negotiable.
