LEAD SPECIALIST, QUALITY ASSURANCE PERMANENT - MIDDLESEX

Our Client, a Major international Oil and Gas, design and construction contractor is seeking a Lead Specialist, Quality Assurance to join their team.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
• Petrochemical experience in engineering design and procurement.
• Degree equivalent qualification in engineering with post-grad qualification in Quality Management.
• IRCA qualified Auditor.
• Communication skills and presentation skills with experience at project management level.
• Prepare, implement and audit project plans and procedures.
• Prepare statistics and quality managing system review reports.
• Review supplier/subcontractor quality evaluation systems, manuals and plans.
• Experience in LNG projects is preferred.

JOB SCOPE:
• Part of a team of Quality Professionals maintaining QA activities within the corporate Quality Department. Reports to the Senior Manager Quality Assurance.
• Oversees consistency in QA activities across several small projects.
• Oversees the planning, supervising, co-ordinating and implementation of a quality assurance programme in compliance with Project Management system and ISO 9001.
• Assists the Senior Manager of Quality in preparing audit schedules, checklists, follow up actions and in maintenance of audit records.
• Prepares statistics to assist in managing the Quality System, including corrective actions, KPIs etc.
• Carries out/participates in internal audits of projects and departments.
• The position is based in Middlesex, although business travel maybe necessary.
