Job Title: Lead Project Accountant Location: Aberdeen Rate/Salary: Neg Duration: Staff The Company: My Client is a global, international service contractor to the Oil & Gas and other process industries. Currently looking for an Lead Project Accountant. Responsibilities - The Lead Project Accountant reports to the UK Finance Manager. Ensure the project accounting team record all accounting entries. Provision of financial data both internally and externally. Ensuring invoices are prepared in a timely manner. Supervising of a small team. Performing / reviewing project month end closeout ensuring all accounting entries. Calculation of project standard rates for the client Business Unit Offshore & Site Based Personnel. Reporting Business Unit financial performance to Senior Management including variance analysis, accounts receivables, accruals and unbilled analysis. Preparation of annual plan and quarterly reforecast in conjunction with Project Management. Calculation of monthly unbilled summary to the client, identifying items pending commercial agreement and accrual entries. Collation of PAAF Register Summary for Facilities Modification Contract and submission to client on a monthly basis. Responding to monthly queries raised regarding the Invoices. Preparation of monthly cash flow forecasts. Liaising with client auditors. Linkage Skills/Qualifications - Oracle or equivalent. Competent in the use of excel. Previous relevant accounting and Oil and Gas experience is preferred. Would suit a recently qualified ACCA / CIMA student.
