Position: Lead Engineer, HVAC

Location: China

Our Client is looking for experienced engineers to work on the design & construction of pharma & biotech plants throughout China. They offer an excellent expat package. Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or above, major in HVAC/mechanical engineering & related field. Master degree preferred

• Minimum 15 years total experience, with a minimum of 10 years active involvement in design projects with procurement and construction components

• Good knowledge in design and construction of HVAC systems like, but not limited to Outside Air, Recirculation Air, Smoke Exhaust, General Exhaust, Process Exhaust and other Ventilation Systems

• Experienced in specification, evaluation, validation and documentation of HVAC Design

• Experience with projects which were strongly architecturally driven

• Familiar with international engineering and project execution, have international engineering company or design institute work experience is preferred

• Relevant discipline work experience and familiar with national Chinese and international standard/codes

• Language skill: CET-6, good at listening, speaking, writing English

• Computer skill: familiar with engineering software, Auto CAD 2002 and newer, 3D, Microsoft office, and e-mail, internet use

• Strong communication / negotiation / and presentation skills

• Proper appearance for active development and discussion at the different design stages with international clients

• Experience in quantity and cost evaluation as well as in preparing system related tender packages

• Leading and supervision of engineering team members related to the project

• Strong ability to work with international project teams, willing to travel

• Project Experience in China preferred
