Job Title: Lead Electrical and Instrument Engineer Location: Sakhalin Russia Rate: Negotiable Duration: One Year Our Client: - A major independent international service contractor to oil gas and other process industries The role: - Responsible for study design specification and services related to electrical systems and Instrumentation - Establishes and maintains the technical standards within the disciplines - Sets strategic and tactical direction with regard to policy/procedures work force staffing and budgeting - Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers - Independently applies advanced engineering techniques makes decisions on engineering problems and methods and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions related to the disciplines - Plans schedules and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation selection and adaptation of engineering techniques procedures and criteria - Performs work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements unsuitability of conventional materials and difficult coordination requirements. - Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
