On behalf of our global and renowned client we are seeking a Lead Civil Designer for the Tranport Marine and Oil and Gas Group. Reporting to State Chief Drafter you will be responsible for leading and acting as a mentor to a small group of drafters and designers. The successful candidate will undertake transport and civil infrastructure work with an emphasis on roads. In addition rail experience will be a distinct advantage. Key responsibilities will include Design and drafting of engineering works from design sketches and engineering data with assistance from other project design personnel as required General site duties minor survey measurements inspections Applying corporate goals to project deliverables service and quality Train and mentor junior staff and Ensuring project knowledge is communicated appropriately and effectively To qualify for this roe the successful candidate will have a certificate or Diploma in a relevant discipline and a minimum of 10 years related experience Proven 12d AutoCad and Microstation skills are essential.
