Job Description
Job Title: Land Tenure Coordinator - Native Title.
Location: Perth.
Rate: Negotiable depending on experience.
Duration: 12 Months.
Our client is a leading Oil & Gas Operator with a number of high profile projects currently underway. They now require a Land Tenure Coordinator to join one of their project teams. The Land Tenure Coordinator will assist with a range of contractual matters associated with long-term Lease Agreements, Licences and Easements. The role will also assist with the finalization, implementation and management of agreements relating to Native Title and Aboriginal heritage, including preparation for meetings, record keeping and liaising with a range of stakeholders. The position involves conducting research to prepare for negotiations on land tenure and native title / Aboriginal heritage.
Essential skills and qualifications:
Degree in Commerce or equivalent
High level written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to work on a number of tasks at the same time
Experience:
Land tenure transactions experience ideally with Native Title Knowledge
Exposure to indigenous culture
Candidates must already possess Australian Work Rights.
