Key Account Manager - Power Sector - Head Resourcing is working in partnership with one of the largest Energy Engineering Companies in the world, to recruit Engineers of the highest calibre for their Head Office in Glasgow. The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years demonstrable experience working on construction and/or commercial line management, power related projects having managed large numbers of diverse staff. You will a relevant degree in Engineering and ideally be Chartered or working towards Chartered status.
The main purpose of the role would be to assist the Networks Contract Manager by ensuring projects at pre-contract and delivery stage are regularly monitored, measured and delivered according to company and client requirements. You will provide a point of contact for both the client and company ensuring clear lines of communication in terms of high level project instructions, reporting, prioritising and transfer of information.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
* Giving direction in application of all safety procedures in combination with H&S legislation requirements.
* Relevant legislation and regulations impacting on the company.
* Latest QS and Project Management tools and techniques
* Requirements and procedures of Major Infrastructure projects
Required skills:
* Excellent commercial and negotiation skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* You will have a proven track record in delivering complex projects and maintaining client relationships.
* Coaching, facilitation and mentoring skills
* Strong project planning and execution skills.
* The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers and provide an appropriate level of service to meet their requirements.
