Job Description
Hays Energy are working in partnership with one of the largest engineering companies world-wide. We are currently seeking a Key Account Manager to work within the Networks division based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced accounts managers to work within one of the most exciting engineering industries in the UK. You will be assisting the Networks Contracts Manager by ensuring projects at pre contract and delivery stage are regularly monitored, measured and delivered according to company and client requirements. Most of the transmission construction projects that you will be dealing with will be either Overhead lines or Substations from 132KV-400KV. 
Job  Specifications;

- Development of management systems to control and report on the commercial arrangements for networks contract.
- Prepare and provide accurate information and support to the pre contract and delivery departments to assist with delivering department and client goals and objectives.
- Management control of all construction activities within operating area with specific responsibility for safety, financial control, project management, customer service, resources and staff development.
- Fully utilise a wide range of project management techniques to secure and safely deliver all projects to the client's satisfaction.

Candidate Specifications;

- Chartered Engineer or in the process of seeking Chartered status
-  Customer awareness and meeting/exceeding customer expectations.
- Give direction in application of all safety procedures in combination with H&S legislation requirements.
-  Project delivery within time, budget, quality and safety parameters.
- Contracts and contractor management.
- People management skills
- Project management skills particularly programming or planning
- Commercial and financial controls.
-  KPIs associated with Networks projects
- 5 years of relevant construction and/or commercial line management experience.
- Managed large numbers of diverse staff.
- Professional qualification (Engineering or Commercial Degree) or equivelant experience
