Swift Worldwide Resources is looking for an Inventory Controls Specialist to work in Soyo, Angola on a 5X2 residential.

Responsibilities:

Materials Management and Inventory Control

Responsible to participate in the team that is developing the business processes related to purchasing, expediting, materials management and inventory control.  Participate in the selection, design and implementation of the materials management system.  Once system in place, this position is responsible for maintaining  the inventory management system including:

• Producing/maintaining accurate records of receipts, shipments, distributions, and current inventory


• Verifies and documents condition of material/equipment prior to accepting receipt of incoming shipments and after loading outgoing shipments.


• Ensures that inventory levels of all required materials, equipment, and/or repair parts are maintained at acceptable levels.

Coordinating with the Maintenance and Operations planning teams to ensure a well integrated materials management plan is in place to ensure all spare parts, materials, goods and equipment are in place, tracked, maintained and available for use when needed
