Education & Qualifications:

Specific Training / Specialist Skills:
Fully conversant with all aspects of the Maximo Supply Chain ERP system, especially the Item Master, Inventory & Cataloguing areas.

Experience:
Extensive experience in the Oil and Petrochemical Industry with experience in offshore applications.

Personal Skills:
The ability to communicate effectively

To have the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external sources

To present management reports in a timely and accurate manner

Basic Purpose of Job:
Function: Ensure that all Material Cataloguing procedures are complied with and all actions are auditable. Champion the Maximo Item Master data integrity process and provide assistance to end-user community. Also maintaining the highest personal, professional and ethical standards.

Project: Ensure that all new & existing materials recording requirements are met and expeditiously actioned to ensure that the client objectives are achieved.

Supervisory and Managerial Duties:

Main Duties:
Ensure control of all Item Master materials records in Maximo and provide a cost effective and efficient materials management service through accurate and right-first-time data entry.
Focal point for system Inventory data control including maintaining re-order, min-max & economic order quantity levels.
Provide system Storeroom' management & governance.
Perform thorough research with vendors, manufacturers and distributors to ensure accurate & full descriptions & certification requirements for new materials.
Liase with Maintenance Spares Engineer to ensure accurate recording & control of critical and insurance spares.
Responsible for the complete Maximo Cataloguing process from initial request through to Inventory and providing support to Maintenance, Engineering, Drilling and Operations.
Co-ordinating with Asco personnel on storage, issues & receipts of Onshore held stock and Storerooms.
Data cleanse all inherited SAP item master records to improve Request for Quote process and search optimisation.
Assist Maintenance Spares Engineer with critical & insurance spares reviews.
Assist Offshore Service Team Leads & Storemen with all Item Master & Inventory issues.
Review all stock re-order requisitions prior to RFQ/PO process.
