Our Client, a Major international Oil and Gas, design and construction operator is seeking an IMIS Specialist (IMIS Systems Coordinator) for a project in Kazakhstan.


QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• A tertiary level qualification in an engineering or relevant subject
• Three years relevant experience in information/engineering systems within the oil and gas sector.
• Information systems / engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Substantial Experience of large multidiscipline projects involving IMIS or related systems.
• Ability to make decisions and provide guidance.
• Adaptability and problem solving capability.
• Experience of large projects.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.


JOB SCOPE:

• Co-ordinate the review and final delivery of documentation from Execution Contractors and Direct Suppliers under the direction of the Client.
• Act as focal point to central IMIS organization.
• Co-ordinate/facilitate the implementation of IMIS systems, processes and procedures.
• Liaise with other functional groups to support the IMIS implementation programme.
• Manage the Document collection and distribution and review processes.
• Ensure procedures and schedules are adhered to.
• Ensure IMIS is functioning according to requirements, trouble shooting where required.
• Provide assistance, guidance, first line technical support.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities;
• In conjunction with the central IMIS organization ensure that all procedures, processes and systems are effectively implemented and adhered to.
• Review, validate and review compliance of the Execution Contractors Information Systems Plan and architecture including implementation plan to validate that all IMIS interface requirements are implemented.
• Review application of IM standards and procedures and effectiveness of validation processes. Identify issues and recommend resolutions.
• Monitor document quality submitted by Execution Contractor / Direct Supplier.
• Ensure that Contractor is trained and component in the use of Documentum for issue of documentation.
• Monitor and review information in IMIS on a regular basis to ensure that collection and reporting standards are being maintained.
• Provide first line support to users and ensure they have access to the support they need.
• Provide regular formal progress reports to the Information Management Coordinator.
• Managing time in an effective manner under direction of the Information Management Coordinator
• Ensure Execution Contractor / Direct Supplier meets all contractual obligations regarding information submission prior to contract closeout.

Location: Atyrau, Kazakhstan

Status: Residential single status

Salary: £42,000 to £45,000 per annum 45% uplifts. 40 days holiday a year.

Terms: a fully furnished 1 bedroom apartment in a hotel complex, serviced daily. Inbound, outbound 4 return flights a year. No car is given as accommodation is within walking distance from the offices. International BUPA covered.
