HVAC Engineer (ref: 26576) job in Kazakhstan
Succesful applicants will working on the Eskene West Rail Project as part of the Kashagan project and will be responsible for providing Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) technical expertise to the Eskene West Rail Project (EWRP). This comprises coordination of Contractor services in the execution of the HVAC design for EWRP Rail Loading Facilities (RLF) and Marshalling Yard (MYD). Responsible for support and advice to EWRP Manager, Lead Civil/ Structural engineer and Senior Project Engineers and coordination with other technical discipline engineers as required to complete Study work and Detailed Design for EWRP
To ensure the timely completion of engineering activities in accordance with RoK and Company HVAC Codes, Standards and Specifications.
To provide HVAC engineering expertise and support to the Eskene West Railway Project (EWRP) through all execution phases including Detailed Design, Construction and Commissioning/Start Up
This will be a residential position located in Atyrau, Kazakhstan

Our client, a major oil and gas company, require high caliblre candidates who meet the following criteria:
Qualifications & Experience:
The job holder must have:
1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Significant HVAC engineering design experience in onshore oil and gas. Requisition engineering, detailed design, delivery, commissioning, and operation.
3. Experience in design and operation of HVAC facilities in extreme ambient environments equivalent to North Caspian Sea conditions.
4. Experience in Former Soviet Union and/or Caspian Area would be an advantage.
5. A previous similar company role, especially in managing and interfacing with major Contractors will be advantageous.
6. Experience in site construction activities.
Required Competencies:
The job holder must have proven:
1. Good interpersonal and team-working skills.
2. Working knowledge of all relevant discipline codes and standards
3. Fluent written and spoken English
4. Familiar with ASHRAE and CIBSE standards
5. Proactive approach to decision making and strong team work motivation;
6. Proven organizational ability in multi-interface and technically demanding Project.
