Global IM Systems Co-ordinator job in UK
Our client, a leading global Oil & Gas EPC Group is looking for an experienced Global Information Management Systems Co-ordinator to join them on a contract basis (6 months minimum) working on a large scale LNG project out of there offices in Middlesex. The Global IM Systems Co-ordinators responsibilities are as follows;
- Oversee IPS implementation of upgrades to major computing systems / environment onto the project across all project locations to ensure project suffers no lost time to include planning, scheduling, project management recommendations / presentations, testing, risk mitigation, training. Examples include PZ, 1E8, Office 2007, Documentum.
- Act as the prime focal point to liaise with / escalate to IPS Management on IT project status and priorities to meet project schedule requirements.
- Coordinate with the CVX IM/IT lead, and support as necessary for related activities
- Manage the project IT team and prioritise / schedule activities to meet project requirements.
- Manage the project submitted ITG's and GSS tickets across all locations; assist with generation of ITG's as necessary
- Manage and coordinate execution of the IT component of the IM/IT Plan for LNG and Infrastructure teams.
Experience Required;
Candidate should have excellent IM project management skills; willingness to travel; good analytical skills; goal oriented; ability to think laterally; technical understanding of computer systems; must be able to interact at all levels of the project organization; excellent interpersonal skills, good communications skills, 15 years experience.
Candidates must have a sound background in EPC project execution together with a knowledge of project execution systems.
