Our client, a leading global Oil & Gas EPC Group is looking for an experienced Global Engineering Data Management Engineer to join them on a contract basis (9 months minimum) working on a large scale LNG project out of there offices in Middlesex. The Global Engineering Data Management Engineer will be required to assist in the management of the multiple data interfaces around e-Warehouse (LCS), including SPID, SPI, SPEL etc. i.e. the sources of data for eWarehouse. These interfaces need to be manually managed, and run centrally for all operating centres. Each interface produces error log files which need to be manipulated before sending to the operating centres for data correction. Will also be required to support the engineering centres in their understanding of what data has to be updated or added to clear the issue.

Experience Required;

Previous experience of working in the oil & gas industry; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Good interpersonal skills; managing engineering tags or models in databases and working with interfaces between these databases. Engineering knowledge and background helpful when reviewing information and resolving issues. Knowledge of client IT systems (primarily Documentum, Life Cycle Server, and SmartPlant applications) helpful, but not essential.
