Our client has an urgent requirement for an experienced Flow Assurance Engineer to fill a staff/permanaent position.
Candidates MUST HAVE AT LEAST 5 YRS EXPERIENCE IN FLOW ASSURANCE.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE :
Solid experience working in the oil and gas industry and related Flow Assurance experience.
Role Description:
- To execute flow assurance related engineering studies covering both steady state and dynamic simulations for different phases of onshore or offshore field development projects.
- To liaise/communicate/work with other disciplines and client representatives and be part of a project based engineering team.
- To provide flow assurance input in terms of work scope preparation to project bids and consultancy work proposals.
Key Skills:
1. Experience using FA software e.g. Pipesim, Pipesim-Net, OLGA, Multiflash, PVTSim. Other software skills like HYSYS and PRO II, GAP and other dynamic simulators FLOWMASTER, NATASHA, SPS would be advantageous.
2. Sound knowledge of multiphase flow, heat transfer, fluid properties and characterisation and flow assurance operability issues like slugging, hydrates mitigation and remediation, wax management and sand transport.
3. Experience in working within a project team.
Background:
The Flow Assurance Group in the UK office not only provides technical support to all the clients engineering and construction projects undertaken in UK as well as overseas offices but is also a part of the Consultancy Group covering FA aspects for conceptual design, Pre-FEED to FEED study work.
