Job Description
Our client is a leading worldwide specialist offshore oil and gas contractor. They have a requirement for an estimator to join their commercial department based in Surrey.
Responsibilities:
To develop cost estimates to support Tendering activities as requested by Proposal Leader and Estimating Manager.
To liaise with external subcontractors and other departments internally to determine and obtain accurate cost related information.
Responsible for collating and updating of the Company database of costing elements.
Qualifications & Experience:
Relevant work experience in the oil and gas industry
Knowledge of Cost Control elements.
Good knowledge in operating computer programs (word and excel spreadsheets).
Good technical background in offshore installation operations.
Availability to fulfil targets and to meet critical deadlines.
Engineering degree and/or Quantity survey qualifications.
The salary for this position will be between 28,000 - 30,500 with a good benefits package.
