JOB TITLE: Estimating Manager - Qatar

THE CLIENT


Our Client is a large international firm of Consultants who have been operating for more than 35 years providing professional consultancy services to clients in the engineering and construction industries. Specialising in the resolution of disputes on major projects, they have a renowned reputation for superior technical analysis of the problems encountered on large construction projects.

Our client continues to expand, delivering consultancy services to their UK and global clients.

THE ROLE
  • You will hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Shall have minimum 8 years post graduate demonstrable experience in producing budgets and estimates from concept stage through to detailed design.
  • Shall have minimum 3 years experience in the Middle East
  • Shall have minimum 3 yrs exprerience producing budgets for developers on infrastructure project in excess of US$50m

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • All staff of the must be fully computer literate and able to utilise related computer software applications.
  • All staff must be fluent in English, both written and spoken, with an excellent capability in technical report writing skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
  • Quantity surveying staff will be required to have background and skills to suit infrastructure projects such as highways including multi level interchanges; underground utilities installations; landscaping; or light rail/ mass transit construction, etc.

CONTRACT DETAILS:

Location: Middle East

Start Date: May 2010
Salary GBP negotiable per annum

Position: 4 year Contract

Duration: 48 months

Rotation: Residential

Working Days: 6 per week

Working Hours: 8 per day
