Equipment Preservation Coordinator

We are seeking a Equipment Preservation Coordinator to join one of our high profile Oil & Gas clients in Western Australia. Perth site based the position will offer a 6 month initial contract.

Key Job Responsibilities

· Implement equipment preservation program

· Facilitate equipment repair and maintenance programs as required

· Provide instructions plans schedules and guidance of field preservation activities as required

· Develop update and maintain the Master Preservation Schedule; maintain preservation documents; develop/ update the project preservation plan/ schedule identifying deliverables from all project teams and identifiable work process for preservation; provide input to reporting systems; develop and perform required audit and assurance process in line with project quality plans; develop required handover information in line with handover strategy

· Follow up/ liaison with other project groups on implementing maintenance and project preservation plan requirements

· Produce monthly reports of current status and issues relative to maintenance and preservation plan & ongoing activities

· Assure maintenance and preservation is properly implemented and performed by various participants in the process

· Provide training support to maintenance and preservation crews related to performance & documentation of maintenance preservation and protection requirements procedures and activities

· Provide technical expertise related to preservation and maintenance of project equipment as required


Experience Qualifications & Skills


Required:
· Mechanical Superintendant with proven 10 years experience performing and/or supervising maintenance or preservation activities in the petrochemical air separation or gas processing industry

· Computer literacy in Microsoft office suite and outlook

Desired:
· Mechanical Superintendant with 3 years experience supervising and managing large scale petrochemical or gas processing facilities preservation operations

· Commissioning start-up and operations experience

· Supervisory experience directing craft and technical field crews

· Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining large industrial rotating mechanical equipment

· Mechanical Engineering Degree
