Equipment Design Engineer -
This role is responsible for supporting the Pipelay Equipment Group Lead with the development of technical excellence and knowledge within Pipelay Systems. This role will be responsible for providing technical support to ongoing projects and vessels, while identifying areas of equipment development or research for future allocation.
Design of Pipelay systems and offshore equipment
Knowledge of Operation/Maintenance of said systems
Provide Technical Support - Pipelay and Offshore Project Equipment
Equipment Development.
R & D
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
BSc. or BEng. degree mechanical / mechatronics
Preferred:
Recognised Project management qualification
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Essential:
Knowledge of Programmable Logical Control (PLC) and hydraulics
Preferred:
Previous experience with design/operation of Pipelay systems (rigid and flexible) and other offshore equipment
