Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated enthusiastic dynamic and professional Environmental Engineer with experience working on marine projects.
You will assist the Project Manager with all environmental aspects of the project including environmental assessments impact statements and implementing environmental management systems on site.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a large globally recognised contractor on an environmentally sensitive project. The project is expected to last until the middle of 2011.

- Undertaking environmental assignments to do with the marine project
- Have an active involvement in the running of key environmental projects your experience and knowledge in the environmental sector will be called upon
- Implementing and auditing environmental management systems on site
- Managing sub contractors on site

REQUIREMENTS:
- A Bachelor Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Relevant professional membership
- 5 years experience in relevant fields preferably with marine projects
- Experience in dredging
- Construction experience
- Knowledge and understanding of professional standards across the industry preferably an understanding of local QLD policies and legislation.
- Excellent written English to support your report writing skills
